aybe you still remember my 'Complete Look' post a month ago, where I posted about my look and hair. I'm so glad that you guys interested about the hairdo (:

I also love this hairdo from the first time I knew it from my cousin. I never thought that it was so easy, because the hairdo looks very beautiful and neat and elegant (please please mind my messy hair here!)
You also can do this anytime and anywhere because the application is so quick and all you need is an elastic hair band.

If you noticed, o yeah, I wore Pj's xpp

1. Pony tail your hair

2. Gyre hair upward

3. Dig a hole on top

4. Put the gyred hair inside the hole

5. Put it inside until the gyred hair disappear and tidy up

6. Voila!

Etude House Blackhead Gommage Review

his is probably the post that some of you have been waiting for. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, fellas.. I bought this blackhead gommage because I got annoyed by my nose that keeps lots of black and whiteheads. I want to get rid all of them!

I had been keeping my curiosity about this EH product and one day I decided that I should get one(: (This was also because I wanted to fulfill the minimum payment to become EH member xp)

*Note: I warn you, this post contains lots of nosy pics, I mean... nose.

The directions

It looks like mud. It's not too thick and not too watery. I also feel that the scrub beads are not too grainy.

Usually after I clean my face with facial foam, I'll dry my nose and the area around it then start using the gommage.

Rub and massage it gently and the 'mud like' will transform like the pic above. After few seconds or a minute, I wash it off with warm water.

My Opinion:

I like how it feels to my skin after wash off the residue. My nose feels so smooth and slippery. hoho..

I think the more you use it regularly, the more you could see the difference before and after. That's all our skin care do, right? the results only happen for real if we continue to use the products xp

I can't really say that I'm into this product because I used to have scrub soap that much much cheaper and has greater performance than this gommage. The bad thing is, the scrub soap was easily shrink and I could only get it from hair salon.

I finally have a chance to try My Beauty Diary Mask. I have wanted to try this mask brand since the first time I saw it at Eki's blog post. Then I noticed that many beauty bloggers have tried also and they made such great reviews.

The bad news is, MBD is so hard to get in Indo and I don't have credit card, so I can't buy it from overseas online shop like sasa or amazon etc.

After tried to find local importer and I got it from facebook. For Indonesian who wants to try MBD. I recommend you to go here. The range selections are not to many, but it's a good start for beginner like me.

How To Use My Beauty Diary Mask:

1. Cleanse face thoroughly before applying mask

2. Excess essence from the packaging may be applied on the neck by massage

3. After 20 minutes, remove mask and gently massage face to assist absorption

4. Rinsing is not required

5. You may apply toner, moisturizer etc. after application

6. Use daily for maximum effect

First try:

MBD Apple Polyphenol

Purpose:

Tightening pores, regulates sebum secretion

Skin type:

All skin types especially skin with enlarged pores

Characteristics:

The natural acid present in the Hibiscus Sabdariffa Extract has the same effect as AHAs helping to remove surface dead skin but does not stimulate the skin. It also improves and prevents pores enlarging, regulating sebum secretion. This helps to tightens pores, and improves the skin texture.

Roselle Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Gentle Nano

First time tear the packaging and pulled out the sheet, I had an awkward moment. I didn't know how to use it because the sheet was folded in a strange way (in my head). I've never used sheet mask before, so that was my first experience xp.

I like the scent and how the sheet felt so cold and fresh on my skin. It was really really good! really!

I don't like the scent! It smells weird.

I didn't know if the sheet has already almost expired or what, but I felt that the sheet didn't has lots essence like the others.

I love the mask. Very unique scent combination. But it was a little disappointing. I expected to smell more ice cream scent..

Happy, healthy and refresh face after used the mask.

The conclusion is:
The masks are moisturizing, RICH of essence, refresh and soothes the exhausted skin, nice scents and also affordable.

I can't pick my favorite because actually, I couldn't distinguish the difference between each mask because I only used them once. But I will repurchase few of them (because I don't really love black cherry choco and red wine) and the other types to see more improvement to skin.

I highly recommend this brand! (just like everyone who has tried it)

I Won O.P.I and Here Are The Swatches

s I promised, now I'm sharing you the prize from Stella Lee and Dunia Kutek because I won their 2nd prize of O.P.I. Hurraahh! Thank you so much guys!!I was so excited about what colors I would get (Who doesn't love surprise?? -Well, except Oprah. I still don't know the reason she always avoids surprise. Anyone?). Back to the O.P.I, my excitement became a joy when the package finally popped out in my study desk. So, I got 5 nail polishes with beautiful colors. Silver Shatter, Zom-Body To Love, Nail Envy, and 2 minis which I don't know the name, so let's just name them Mini Black and Mini Glittery Pink. I love love love what I received ;DD

At first I tried the silver shatter mixed with Zom-Body To Love. They didn't match at all. I didn't know what Zom-Body To Love was. I just thought that it must be because of the color-looks like monster's hand or frankenstein or troll's snot- and because of the name. Then I googled it, and voila! I knew that it's a glow in the dark nail polish. Awesome!
Then I mixed the shatter with the mini black and they were a perfect match. The shatter polish easily get dry and shattered quickly. It's very very cute! For the glittery pink one, the color is so soft so I try to mix it with my other pinky nail polishes (Will show you sometime).

Here are the Swatches.

In that pic I only use a coat of Zom-Body To Love. But if you want to get the glow in the dark effect, put some more coats. In other words, let me make some conclusions:
1. Silver Shatter: Quickly shattered and dry. Will be a perfect match with dark colors.
2. Zom-Body To Love: Glow in the dark. Try to put some coats, so in the day light you can see it green.
3. Mini Black: Put 2 or more coats to achieve dark solid black.
4. Mini Glittery Pink: Soft color, solid glitter.
5. Nail Envy: Claims to be a nail straightener, good for top coat.

Etude House Line Nuance Duo and Styling Eye Liner Review

Last month I was tempted to become a member of Etude House. So.. These are my haul.

5. Styling Eye Liner

Do you interested to read review from these things? Maybe you have to wait a bit longer.. BUT, now I'll review the Line Nuance Duo and Styling Eye Liner.

The swatches:

As you can see the colors are not that bold, so they can be used for daily occasion.The Line Nuance Duo is so practical because it has contain combination, one is gold eyeshadow and in the opposite side is brown for pencil eye liner. I like the gold color, but it isn't so visible and after few hours the color will smudges and almost dissappear.

Overall, both of Line Nuance Duo and Styling Eye Liner are non-waterproof. So you have to be prepared to touch up everytime you have time.Actually, I don't so satisfied with the two products. Aahh.. It must be just because of my female hormones that made me buy these two to apply member at that time TT^TTThen, NO. I won't repurchase them.

Well, the first time I grabbed the mascara I was thinking how big the mascara was. Really! The packaging is bigger than usual, especially for the brush. I had a difficult time to adjust it. haha..

Then the first time applied the mascara, first thought: Euww.. It lumps! I don't know why I still can't make peace with the lump and stiill find a way.
When you read this, you must be questioning why I didn't test it out before. but I did, and also asked to the clerk why the it lumped. She said that was because many people tried and opened, so it dried easily.

Royal Stamps of Mine

iippiieeyy!! I'm happy! I'm happy!! I got a mail from UK. Okay, I'm sorry that I was and am so excited because a mail! But this is not JUST an ordinary mail, but this is a royal mail, I mean, royal stamps. hoho..

Thanks to my friend and my English tutor, Charles for this mail. He's so kind. When he went back to London he was kindly asking me that I want something from his mother country. He knew that I love magazine, so he offered to give me some magazines (and he did!). But then he asked me again about what I would love to have from overseas, then I said that I always collected stamps back then and I would love to have UK's stamps. Fortunately, the timing was just perfect. Britains were crazy about The Royal Wedding, and of course its souvenir: Prince William and Miss Kate Middleton's limited stamps.

I think to get these stamps, ppl have to pre-order them at Benham? I don't know, I just assumed it when I read the envelope.

Along with the stamps, the package came with few magazines. One UK BAZAAR (March issue) and three YOU (27 March, 3 April, 17 April issue). I've never have UK's mags before, I'm so excited!
Do you know about YOU magazine? never heard of. But it's pretty good to read(:

SKIN79 THE ORIENTAL Gold Plus & Hot Pink BB cream

h, oh! Joan is back!! I’ve been terribly busy these days and damn internet connection (as always).

I had been searching for BB cream in the past few weeks. I read so many reviews from makeup gurus to bloggers. This is my first BB cream ever, I just don’t want to get disappointed after buy the wrong or standard BB cream. My nominees were from Etude House, Missha (Perfect Cover), Skin79 (Hot Pink-I didn’t know before, thanks Jen from frmheadtotoe! I was really moved by her recommendation) and The Face Shop (Power Perfection).

At first, because I thought there weren’t any Skin79 counter here (apparently I was so wrong xp), so I had to eliminated it and shortly, Missha Perfect Cover BB cream become my strong nominee. It’s like everybody and every beauty blogger recommend this BB cream. I was going to order it at online shop when I ended up finding Skin79 counter and I got the tester. I tried the Hot Pink one. I was so impressed, except the smell because it’s lot like sunblock. But it’s still fine. Suddenly I forgot about Missha, but in the end I went to Missha counter and tested the #23 (#21 is for fair skin tone).

First, my skin felt wet feeling (I don’t know the term, maybe dewy finish?). I didn’t like it, but after few minutes the feeling slowly disappeared. I think the result was almost the same with the Skin79 Hot Pink, but I had already falling in love with Skin79. Hoho..

So, as soon as I got home, I ordered the Skin79. But instead of bought the Hot Pink one, I chose the Oriental Gold Plus, because this BB cream has new formula. Well, I hope it worth to try I think..

I'll review the Hot Pink first, a tester to be exact.

First applied, as always, BB cream will look so white in our skin, but then it blended so well. No wet or greasy feeling, and the smell wasn't that bad actually. I think I used the cream pretty thick because my dad immediately noticed that I used a cream! or maybe because of the powder? didn't know..-,-
I have oily skin type, but this can control the oil in my face for few hours. My face looks really smooth after used it, redness all gone..dark circle under my eyes also reduced.

but overall my conclusion is pretty much the same with the Hot Pink. Reduce redness, dark circle and smoothen my face.

Final conclusion on these two: Next time, I will purchase the Hot Pink BB cream because it's cheaper and already has a nice coverage to my face. In rupiahs, the cost of Hot Pink in online shop is Rp. 169.000,- (probably about $19.5) while in the mall counter is Rp. 348.000,- ($40.2), Oriental Gold Plus -tube in online shop Rp. 199.000,-($22.9); in mall counter Rp. 364.000,- ($41.9). Oriental Gold Plus - liquid in online shop Rp. 230.000,-($26.5); in mall counter Rp. 550.000,-($63.4).

So, the price of Hot Pink and Oriental Gold Plus are not much different, right?

eyy! First time I'm doing beauty product review. howhowww....x)

This time I'm gonna show you my new liquid eyeliner from Bourjois called Liner Pinceau (32 noir beaux-arts). I had the recommendation from two of my friends who have already use it, and they like it a lot because the solid black colour and it's easily dry and doesn't smudge all over eyes.

The package says it will last up to 16 hours. Just so you know, the pics were taken after I used it for about 6-7 hours. It still looked in the place. Didn't smudge, didn't greasy. So, the product didn't deceive me! I love this myself and definitely will buy again. (ppsstt.. even my mom will buy this eyeliner xpp)

Back when I was in uni, I had my photography assignments to photographs what they called human interest. We had to take pics about people who live in poverty. So I went to railway area with few of my friends. There were lots of kids live in here. They played along the railway and did most activities here too. Old and young, all gathered in this area.

To look at them make me remember not to always look above. I had the unhealthy behaviour called envious. I make it to normal portion now. hahaha.. Sure, I wish I had lots of money, live in a mansion with the king size bed plus its canopy, had my personal stylist and walking closet and etc etc etc.. But then when I meet simple life society, I think that I should be greatful in my place now. At least I have a place to stay, have enough food to eat everyday and so many little things that sometimes I forget but I really thank to God because he gives these to me.

So, be grateful grateful always and live your life to the fullest and don't forget to be happy!(:

loha everyone! So, two days ago we celebrated Earth Hour. How was it in your country? What did you do when the lights out?
This is my first experience as a volunteer. I always wanted to volunteering but I didn't know how. haha..

I was so happy could be part of this event. Makes me so proud of myself that I can help this lovely planet. So, I got myself to the City Hall to volunteering. I was at the meals section (But earlier, I was in charge of the garbage. What a comparison). Aaahh.. I didn't know that they need photography volunteer..T^T If only I knew... I also didn't bring my DSLR coz I got there by busway, so I was afraid that somebody would steal my baby..(I always paranoid like that xp)

Live & Rockin' Concert: 2PM, Shontelle, Taio Cruz, Suede

ast Saturday (11.03.19), I went to a concert supported by Blackberry: Live & Rockin’ Concert with 2PM, Shontelle, Taio Cruz and Suede. I didn’t get too much excited for those US singers, but I’m soooo into 2PM. Well, yeah, I like Shontelle and Taio. Especially Taio because I love songs that makes me wanna shake my booty. And, I’m not a Hottest (2PM’s fan). I just know few of their songs, two of their members, but it won’t stop me to got so excited.
It’s very rare to see Korean stars here. It started lately, I think. This is my third times. First when I was in my early college (meet and greet with Lee Dong Wook), second when I did my thesis (Wonder Girls’ Showcase), and the third (2PM). This is also my first chance to see US singers. I’ve always skipped many US bands and singers who came here to a concert. My parents won’t allow me to spend too much money to buy concert ticket. So, how come they allowed me to attend this one? It’s because I got the ticket as a giveaway xp

Actually, if you want to get the invitation and got a place in VIP, you have to trade in your Blackberry. Seems one of the most expensive ticket in the world, aye? hehe.. (Cell phone in Indonesia is pretty expensive. The cheapest new Blackberry could cost about $400)

(Just so you know, after Wonder Girls and before 2PM, another Korean stars who came here was the Kpop boy band, SHINee~But I didn’t come)

So, here’s my journey to get a good place in the concert~~~

Early morning at 05:30 am I woke up then rushed my way to my friend’s. The gate will be open at 17.00 pm, but I had to redeem my invitation ticket into the real ticket at 13.00 pm. When I got there at 08:45 am, she was still sleeping (aarggghh.. we planned to go at 11.00 pm). After we were fully prepared, we wait for the cab. We called for it, but after one hour later, the cab still hadn’t show up! I was so pisseddd.. For short, we got another cab. We arrived to the venue at 13:20 pm. The queue had already looked like a long long snake. It was one hot day. Super hot and crowded. But still, a glimpse of 2PM faces, that in just few hours I could meet them in blood and flesh made me fully recharged.

So here was I in the ticket redeem queue queue. Killed the time by chit chat and took some pics with my friend (Psst.. I went with 2 of my friends, my another friend was waiting in the ‘real’ gate queue queue as I waited to redeemed the ticket. This brought so much advantage because I didn’t think that other people thought the way we thought xp). After the long wait we got the real ticket. How happy I was, and got rush to my friend who would have unconscious if we came a bit longer because the weather was really hot and the sun was right above our heads.

Oh, I have to tell you too that watching concert means you have stand in a line, even if you want to pee pee or poo poo. Well, maybe I cheated when I went in to male’s toilet xp

O yeah, it was 04:00 pm. Everybody stand up immediately (We sit while waited the open gate). I worried again about I will be caught because I brought my DSLR. Remembered my experience at Wonder Girls Showcase, now I hide my DSLR in my black big bag. But I was afraid that they would frisk my bag. So my friends and I made some plans. It was 05:00pm. They haven’t open the gate yet. It was soooo frustrating because I stand like I was glued with person in my back and front. So damn hot and exhausted.

Finally Finally, they opened the gate. The man was checking my bag, but only glance inside the bag. My DSLR passed! I run like crazy, one of my shoe almost got loose. Well, if you think that I run right to the stage, you’re wrong. There’s another gate, and we waited outside again. In our right side, I saw Channel V’s crews and VJ. I only recognized Lisa S. Can you tell me who’s the other one? She was so nice. When I asked her to take picture together, first she said to me that she liked my glasses(:

I didn’t know what time it was but FINALLY we got in to the real way to the stage. Blackberry kept replay their advertisement on the two big screens till we dropped dead bored. Tik tok tik tok.. Someone almost fainted in the middle of our waiting. Two people had a quarrel. My friends and I were got pushed from everywhere. When the situation was finally calming, the 2 MCs came. They were Fahrani and VJ DANIEL!! Awww>< (Maybe some of you’ve already knew that I have a celebrity crush on him).

They said something for intro, I ignored what they were saying and prepared to get bored, but then they disappeared, and here were they, 2PM! For a second I was just stand there, felt cheated and unprepared while the crowds started to making noise and I got pushed again. I tried to look 2PM behind hottest’s hands and their gadget. I really couldn’t remember about what 2PM did on stage. I just remember that I got pushed from my left side so often, my brain just said that I couldn’t fall and ended up being stepped on by the crowds.

2PM sang 4 songs: I’ll Be Back, Heartbeat, a little chit chat (Nichkhun even said that we couldn’t push each other!), I Hate You, introduction, 10 Points out of 10 (Taec moved like he wanted to take of his shirt. Aww..) And that’s it! That’s it. They said ‘See You’ and I couldn’t believe it..)):

Well, next we still had Shontelle, Taio Cruz and Suede. But almost 50% of the crowds were leaving the venue. Yes, the reason they were coming was just about 2PM. LOL. I still wanted to see Shontelle and Taio, so I stayed till Taio hit the dance floor (Shontelle was so sweet, beautiful and has amazing voice. One of the fans give her love symbol with her hands, and Shontelle did the same thing to us!)

But so sad, I was so exhausted at that time, after Taio's few songs (I was so high on Break Your Heart and Higher) I gave up because there was still no clue that he would sing Dynamite. I don’t care about Suede, because I don’t know them.

Almost end of the story, I realized something wrong with my shoes. GOSH! The shoe ribbon gone missing. I’m lucky that I wore the old shoes…

My life in this rented house has been so sucks! First issue, of course, is because of the freakin bitch internet connection. I wasted my time just to sit and looking at the monitor all the time while the radiation keep come through my head and I got NOTHING (Except the emotion and radiation). My works hampered day by day because it’s so hard to open my emails, search data, images and everything related. Two, I want to sleep and do everything in my own room. I want to turn on the radio so loud just for me.

I want my real house back! I miss it so bad..): I hope everyday that my house can be finished ASAP. They said April is the month. But who knows? Maybe they can make it till June or July?? I feel like dying over here!!

Okay, for the happy times, I’ll say that photograph something is a good way to release this distress. I’m a ‘macro’ person. So sad that macro lens is quite pricey, considering that I won’t be a professional photographer.

I always adore pictures with depth in field. I learn learn and learn how to make the great blur focus images with my ordinary DSLR. Well, I think the result is not that bad, don’t you think? Xp

Another problem after the releasing the boredom and emotion is.. Uploading the pictures to photobucket and then make a blog post. This ritual really sucks to the TOP. This is why I can’t regularly make blog posts.

Breaking News: another Crop Circle was found

Hey guys! Just wanna to share you a big news in 2011. Prepare for you who DO believe in UFO and Aliens. I believe them myself. I believe that we're not alone in this universe (I always dreaming, you know..)

So, here is the big news.... Two days ago, January 23, there was found a crop circle in a village of Yogyakarta (yes, the place I spent my holiday) Indonesia. Quite shocking coz we had never had 'this contact'. Let me explain with the news from tempointeraktif:
This crop circle appeared on rice field area. Its diameter is about 25-30 meters.Based on Tempo's observation, this crop circle might be real because the rice stems were not damaged, it's only bent over.

Believe it or not, but I really want this to be true. I was because of something called UFO or spaceship. They did fly above the rice field to say hello to human.

The reason I've been missing for a long time is because I was on holiday to Jogja (small city of Indonesia), Bandungan (smaller city) and Salatiga (bigger than Bandungan). Anyone misses me? No? I hope some of you do!xp

1. Graduate and be a part of WWF family

After struggled for 4 years in uni, I finally graduated to taste the REAL world. Thanks to my lecturer who always encourage me to send my thesis to WWF (my thesis based on WWF’s donation program) because after then, WWF hired me. I’m a lucky girl!(:

2. Realize how much I’m loved by my family and friends

So many things happened in 2010. Both good and bad things. But, bad times really really made me realize that no matter happen in my life, family and friends are the people who will always be in my side. As long as my family and friends love me and know me who I really am, I don’t care of what people think of me.

3. Finally I know the definition of LIFE!!!!;DD

Maybe this is so weird, but I had been thinking about the value of my own life or anyone’s life. I think the graduation thing, and job searching make me looked for the meaning of life a lot more. But know I know a bit about the life God gave to us, and try to enjoy it till the last day of my life.

Downs in 2010

1. Left my uni life, friends and boarding house

I used to live in boarding house for 7 years of my life (3 years when I went to high school). Back to my house really makes me weird and uncomfy at all. I’m so sad to live separate with my friends. I miss the time we talked and laughed till morning, shared stories about BF, crush, sad and happy things, hanged out every Saturday, go crazy together and many things we did for many years. We all like sisters and it will never change till forever.

Sorry Sorry Sorry (I feel like I'm singing Sorry Sorry from Super Junior) for my long hiatus!!!):

I'll make it up in here (almost) haha.. This should be special as the title said, but because I didn't use my DSLR or pocket camera, it's just almost special. Sigh... I really regret it. How stupid I was not to bring the 'real' camera!! aarrghh...

But I really wanna to share these pictures to all of you. Bring my Christmas spirit here. hehe.. These pictures I took at one of the glamorous and prestigious Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia. Actually, I went here after wedding party, that's why I didn't bring any camera but my mom's cell phone camera. aaarrgghhh again... (I really need Samsung Galaxy S or iPhone 4, you know..=,=)

The Christmas decor in this mall is AWESOME! They made a giant snow ball. Can't you imagine a giant snow ball inside the mall?? Here it is, guys!((:

1. Why did you create this blog?
Well, first of all, I knew blogging from the TV. I’m not that interested at the time, but then I discovered about fashion blog, and ended up in Alix blog: thecherryblossomgirl.com and I love her!! She’s my first idol fashion blogger. She inspires me a lot. Everyday I just sat in front of my computer and starred to her outfits (That’s why my address similar to her xp). Then I got my first DSLR, and I had lots of pictures because of it and I want to share them to the world. I like sharing informations to people too, so I started my own blog.

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
Many different kind of blogs. Fashion, entertainment, beauty or just everyday life blog. They’re all make me interested to follow.

3. Favorite makeup brand?
Well, I have to say Etude House, because 80% of my make up products are from them xp

4. Favorite clothing brand?
I don’t have my favorite recently becauseee…. It’s been ages I don’t do shopping. Aaarrgghh… But I have my favorite shoes brand. Charles&Keith;D

5. Your indispensable makeup product?
Lipstick or lipgloss! I have a dark color lips, so I need them when I go out. If I can add one more, I have to say that I can’t leave without blush on.

6. Your favorite color?
Blue of course! I really really love the color. Thank God He made blue for this world (:

7. Your perfume?
I rarely use perfume and I don't use any perfumes recently. I’m a lazy person. Hahaa.. Sometimes I bought it because I want it (My eyes always hungry to see beauty products), but not need it. So, when I go out I just use them when I’m in the mood. But I have my favorite: DKNY be delicious green apple.

8. Your favorite film?
Uhmmm… this is a very difficult question!xp I have so many, I don’t which to pick as my favorite. I’ll mention few movies, but I have a lot more(:
Titanic, Step Up 1&2, The Sound of Music, Harry Potter, almost all Disney’s movies (I watch High School Musical like 1000 times (⊙▂⊙)).

9. What country would you like to visit and why?
I think that few of my readers have already know that I really really eagerly want to go to France. I never change my destination dream xp
Well, I like France because I like the style that French people have, I like their architecture, artsy things, the language, everything in there!

When you see this post, maybe you say ‘Harry Potter again? Everybody is talking about it. Oh, please not again…’ I know I know. Every blogger talks about this a lot, but I can’t help myself not to post this. I’m so in love with the series, and I’m glad to say that this one is one of the best Harry Potter movie series. Well, I can say this because I’m not into the previous series like no 5 and no 6. That two movies were so lame! Uuuggh.. But now Harry Potter is back! Lots of humor and more thrilling! I laughed and cried in the cinema xp
I give 9 stars out of 10. Really! This is one of the best movie this year. If you guys haven’t seen this, YOU MUST!

Trip to haunted place

I'm confused. Actually. I don't know what to post xp
So, I'll share you my trip to Semarang in Central Java about half year ago. Me, my friend and our friend from Brazil went to visit Lawang Sewu (It's Javanese for one thousand doors). Why people called the place as one thousand doors? It's because, yes, It has many many doors at one building. Lawang Sewu is one haunted place in Indonesia. According to people who can see the ghosts, this place indeed has many many ghosts. Maybe as many as the doors? or more?? I don't know..

Aahh.. before I forget, I got this award from Polly!! Thanks dear and sorry! >< I always forgot to post it here. My bad...

Long years ago, Lawang Sewu is an office of Nederlands-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij or NIS. As the explanation from the guide, its crypt used to be a place to turtored prisoners. I don't really know the exact history, because there are Japanese soldiers here (as the guide said) too.

I take photos of course. Not so many, because I'm afraid that somehow my camera could capture the ghosts. ha!

I wonder how can a girl who likes mathematics and being a physic student can also update and obsess with the fashion world? I think the quote says: ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ has a true meaning. Can you imagine that a nerd could be a model or actress or even an Editor in Chief? This girl none of what I mentioned, but she has her own style and being an author of her FAB fashion blog (and who knows if Queen Desi could be one of what I mentioned??;D).
Speaking of her blog, The Secret Life of “D” it’s about fashion, her OOTD, her favorite runways, TV series, music, model, all the things that you want to know in entertainment industry. Of course she blogs all about these! The girl who loves autumn and winter has always hope that someday she will sit at front row in the Fashion Week Show and works in fashion magazine. She must be absolutely adore magazine, because she has toooonnnsss of fashion magazine in her boarding house and her hobby is to makes collages from its pages.

To know much much more about her, I had an interview with her. So, this is our Q and A session. I hope you enjoy it!((:

1. Can you tell me what’s your signature style?

Well, i don't have any signature style. Basicly i'm such a chanel girl, i always like
to play with a simple outfit and still look chic. sometime when i was in the mood i like to try different style that i think it was not so me, but after i try the result was so amazing.
This is why i like fashion, too much inspirational style that i have to explore

2. I saw that you love Lady Gaga. A lot!! Do you want to be free to express fashion like Gaga? And what have you done to be free for your own fashion style?

I really love Lady Gaga, she's one of my fashion icon. FYI, i always love to try many new things
and so do with Lady Gaga. Just take a look to her fashion. she always change everytime, not wannabe a follower but a trendsetter. She always put fashion in every video that she has made. She's a perfectionist one and i always wonder what the new fashion issue from her (Just a super icon can make a big curiosity like this). I like to express any of my fashion idea, but to be extreme like Lady gaga i really need a huge of self-confident and i still working with it. About what have i done to be free for my own fashion style, i never afraid to play with colors and patern (this is so different
with my statement "i'm such a chanel girl") but this is fashion world, we can express so many thing here. My style really different with the other people around me. My friend always said "what the hell are you wearing?"
but in the end they can respect my fashion taste, and said "Yeah, your style is cool". sometime they take some advice from me. Have i told you that i really love to explore make-up stuff too?? i should do my make-up tutorial project, haha :)

3. What position do you want if you are accepted to work in fashion magazine?

This is a tricky question for me :) i took Physics as my major in college. i mean, i can't see the equation between physics and fashion magazine. but to be honest, work in Fashion Magazine is one of my bigest passion since i bought my first magazine when i was 12 years old.
* i like to try as a fashion stylist to realize my fashion idea. In the other side
* i like to write "new fashion issue article" too, so i really like to take a part as an Editor. Who knows maybe i can be a fashion director or editor in chief one day??

4. If Indonesia, your country has 4 seasons or you ended up live in foreign country that has 4 different seasons, what kinda clothes you would wear? The 3 ‘IT ‘fashion items you’ve never wore in your tropical country?

OMG!! i always wish that Indonesia have this F/W season. the clothes really beautiful in this season.
3 item that i would like to wear (sadly i have to think twice to wear it here in Indonesia) :
* Long Coat
* Long Boots
* Gloves (so classic!! just a bride wear this item here!!)

5. Who’s your most favorite designer, and why?

Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. the reason, because he can produce a chic-classy collections with a simple cutting (really me), and the oposite from Mr.Lagerfeld is Alexander McQueen, because he's so briliant, his design so futuristic and really undefinable (i will always love him). Marc Jacobs took my attention too lately!! i really enjoy his collection in Louis Vuitton, Marc by Marc Jacobs and "the great" Marc Jacobs in this S/S 2010-2011. Perfecto!!

6. Last but not least, why did you start your own blog? Was it because of June Paski? (Dreamy Princess' note: June Paski is a fashion blogger from Indonesia)

I made my blogs account in the middle of 2009/ i wrote one article about my friend's birthday, after that i never take care of my blog untill i read this article about June Paski in one of local magazine. i searched and as you know the rest of the story..I found this "fashion treasure" and it made me decided to start all over again!! and this time my blog is about fashion. so all i can say is tks to June Paski and this magazine :))

It's almost holiday right? Have you written down your favorite things to buy or to receive? Well, maybe I can't receive one in my list, but at least I've made it (Hoping that someone will see and buy all for me ;D)

1. Panda Bear Hood. It's from Spirithoods (you can see it here). Isn't it the cutest hat ever??><
2. Prada Bears. Those bears are so sweet! I can't control myself when I have to deal with bears, teddy bears, polar bears, honey bears, jelly bears.. aaarrggghh... I'm crazy!!
3. Nerd Glass. I'm so sick with my current glasses. I need the new one and I'm crazy about wanting black frame nerd glasses. Just like Miss Pandora's.
4. Reed Krakoff Military Boots. It's a shame that I can't wear boots everywhere since my country has HOT weather almost all the time.. But this boots are gorgeous, aren't they?
5. Mulberry Bag. I NEED Mulberry! Gosh! They produce so many nicest bags!!

I'm so sorry for my lack post!! I've been very busy these days. I went out of city for few days, then I did the moving things (My house will be renovated soon), and the other things I have to finish. Aarrgghh.. my days have been so terrible!

Me and my parents were looking for a rent house, because our house will be renovated soon. So, we checked the candidate for the rental house few days ago. I was so bored while my parents see the whole house. Lucky me, I brought my camera with me. To kill the boredom, I took some shots. First, of course the house itself. hehee.. The rest of it, I took plants pictures which was located in front of the house. I always love to shoot flowers or plants like that. Nature always amaze me. Do you believe in true love? Do you believe, that at the end, you will find someone who is your true love, half of your soul, your soulmate? Do you believe that he or she really exists?
Well, in my whole life that I’ve been through, I’ve never feel how much I can love a man. I don’t believe such a thing. I really want to believe, because actually (or maybe?) I’m a hopeless romantic, but, I always believe something that everybody called a true love just appears in romantic stories. Movies, songs, books. Maybe, that’s why I love them all. Probably because they gave me an imagination, a hope, a picture perfect of happy ending story. I like the sentence ‘and they live happily ever after.’ However, I believe that there’s no happily ever after thing. It’s just so good to be true. I really hope that I’ll have one, but in my experiences, over what I’ve saw in anyone’s life, it’s so hard to make me believe that there’s a true love and happily ever after. No judgement, if you have a happy life with your partner, I’m happy for you. Really! I wanna be like you too of course. I always sighing when I saw romance movies. I envy to them..xp
Suddenly I want to believe in true love after I saw Letters to Juliet. The theme song by Colbie Caillat, the film locations, the casts, those things make me getting carried away.. to the romance things. When my friend asked me the question: what do you pick, a true love, or one million dollars? I always said that I will take the money. I don’t believe in true love, and so whatever with it. Now, I think I regret it. There’s something that money can’t buy. A true love..

Hey guys! Have you watch Gossip Girl season 3? WOW, I just finally fisnished watching it, and I just wanna say..WOW. It gone more more more scandalous, right?? Well, if you let my babbling things going on, I’ll say that I’m so gratefull that I’m not even close to be one of Upper East Side's resident. And I’m so glad that I don’t have scandalous life like them. What I’m gonna do if I were Jenny, in this case? I won’t survive for sure. Everybody will just hate me and throw me like I’m a piece of nothing. And what if I were the Queen Bee? The it girl, Blair Waldorf. I can’t play a game..not even a little. I’m so lame at playing games. Especially if it related to human creature named BOYS. Sigh.. I’m giving up!

And, about changing partners, because all the characters here seem to have a lot of affairs with the same people I think I won’t date my friend’s ex.

But who knows? Lol.. But it’ll be so awkward if I do that. Awkward with my friend and also her ex.. I can't hide my own expression!!

Even if as I say this, I still want the Paris part. I don’t want to miss Paris for sure if I were Serena Van Der Woodsen or Blair Waldorf. And STILL, I love the Blair character, though. We both love Audrey Hepburn!((:

I watched Julie & Julia movie recently. Not a new movie, but I just have time to see it now. This movie is great. And Julia's scene takes place in Paris! (:
Julie and Julia live in two different places and times! Julia Child {Meryl Streep} was a good cook. She started to learn to cook at age 47 (If I'm not mistaken), then she and her fellas wrote a book called Mastering the Art of French Cooking which is become so famous. And at this time, Julie Powell {Amy Adams}, an ordinary married and working woman, want to start her own blog, because she felt a boredom with her present job. She's an amazing cook too. She adores Julia Child and she has her famous cookbook.
So, she challenge herself to try to make all the recipes in Julia's cookbook in one year. Then, she will post the recipes and how she cook them in her blog.
This story is based on two books and real stories too {Julia Child and Julie Powell are real people}. Maybe, if you haven't watched this movie, you should. I want to be a good cook too someday, because I wanna feed my husband and my children very well, so they could be the next Mr. Dursley and Dudley?!

P.S: Please doon't watch if you haven't eaten anything, because you'll feel hungry and drool during the movie! TRUST ME!xp

I took this pictures when I'm on my way to Yogyakarta for spent the holiday..

I like to watch the sky, because I'm a 'blue' maniac. A blue craze.. Everytime I look up to the clear blue sky, I feel warm and happy. This little thing could always cheer me up everytime my days were so bad and bored..(:

Do you feel that when you look up, and it's so sunny and bright, the sky was so wide and clear, your brain said that your bright future is somewhere, waiting for you to get it, your dream will be in your hand, all the good things will come to you and everything will be just alright? Light.. What's so important about it into our lives? The world seems so alive with it, and seems so dead without it.
Well, I just want to show you about a little lighting and edit in photographs. I didn't use additional lighting equipments, so the pictures had a lot of noises.
Anyone knows how to reduce noise?
