Batu Secret Zoo~Jatim Park 2 (Part 1)

Happy fourth week of 2013, everyone :D

Two weeks ago, I went to Batu in Malang, East Java to attend company national sales meeting. I spent 4 days 3 nights at Klub Bunga Butik and Resort, which was nice, because of the many facilities they have). Even when our schedule was full with meetings and training, amazingly on the third day, our big boss set a schedule so we could go to the amusement park near our hotel, Jatim Park 2. Why 2? Because, Jatim Park 2 is newest than Jatim Park 1 and everyone said it's more fun.

So, what makes Jatim Park 2 more fun? There, we can find 3 different places at one place. From the entrance, straight we can see Pohon Inn Hotel, left we can see Batu Secret Zoo (This is a special zoo, because there are so many unusual animals compares to normal zoos in Indonesia) and right side we can see Museum Satwa (Animal Museum). And.. there are lot more fun parts inside :3

Here's the Pohon Inn Hotel. Looks amazing, right?(:

Our happy faces in front of the ticket counter ^^ What a refreshment in the middle of meetings and trainings

Okay, Let's enter to Batu Secret Zoo!
(Please forgive me, but I don't remember all the animal's name because I forgot to capture the name board)

Batu Secret Zoo is a big area. It has few sections for the area, like Batu Secret Zoo A (area for birds, mammals and primates), Aquarium, Tiger Land, Savannah, etc. And in the middle there is Fantasy Land which we can find playground here.

This was the first animals we met. They are Nutria or the Giant Rat. (Look at the tail O.O)

This little creature was showing its tongue! How cute is that..Too bad I can't get the face... waw...
In reality, this monkey has a very very small size. Just as small as squirrel.

Yeyy.. the notorious lemur, King Julien from Madagascar movie x3

Bats. I think they look like hanging clothes.

Beautiful cassowary.

Aahh.. too bad I don't know the name of these unique animals. Anyone?

Capybara. I have no idea why they're in a shed together with the geese

So, I think that's it for part 1. See you on Jatim park adventure part 2. I hope you all curious. Ciao! (:

Nivea Pinkish Boost 3in1

Euhh.. I don't like the color of my lips. Dark at the edges. Once I get tired or don't have enough drink, my lips turn absolutely pale! I've try the routine to make my lips healthier like rubbing my lips with soft tooth brush, use vaseline petroleum and massage it before I go to bed at night. But that is no-use-at-all!
So, when I saw this NIVEA Pinkish Boost at the supermarket. I decided to give it a try.

Here's the packaging. Most of girls will love it cause it's pink!

The product claims to:
1. Restores natural lip colour
2. Reduces lip dullness
3. Protects lips with SPF 15

Here's the tip and a little peek from the balm.

Here's my before after

Overall rating: ☆ Color: ☆ Moist:   Smell: ☆ Packaging:

My final thought:
As lip balm, NIVEA pinkish boost moisturizes my lips. It feels a bit oily after applied, it also has strong taste and smell which I don't like it. Still, it does moisturize.
I don't think this lip balm works to reduce lips darkness like mine. I've been using it for few times, but it still doesn't give me any significant result.  I will keep try until the lip balm is empty though.

So, what lip balm do you use to boost your natural pink lips?

TONYMOLY Tony Tint#1 Cherry Pink

K-Pop and K-Drama do shake our world, agree? Well, at least for me. hehe.. Yeah, I say it because I really feel that I've been seduced by Korean celebrities makeup. How their skin look glowing, smooth, how their lips look soft, fresh and pinkish. That's why I bought BB Creams, and now lip tints. Look at Geum Jan Di's pic below. Doesn't she look so beautiful? (Even if she was just about to cry)
Clear skin, rosy cheek, red lips. Very attractive.

Well, one of the her makeup secret is she was using TONYMOLY lip tint for her lips!

Lip tint/ lip stain is definitely popular these days. I think it was being popularized by Benetint from Benefit Cosmetics.

The plus points why we should love lip tint are:
1. The color is long lasting
2. It looks natural
3. You can make gradation color!

This is mine. The bottle is sooo small.. (I've been using it several times before take the pics)

Actually, the lip tint comes with the 2 types packaging. One is the normal size, and the other one is the mini size. Because this was my first ever lip tint, so I bought this mini for giving it a try.

Here's the normal size of Tony Tint (cr: google.com)

The lip tint absorbs to your skin.
1. First apply
2. leave it for few seconds
3. wipe it away

There are few ways to apply lip tint, but this is my very basic and simple way.

1. Apply the lip tint in few spots (They look bleeding o,O). The tony tint has water consistency. Different with my Etude House Dear Darling tint that has thick lip gloss consistency.

2. Blend it out with fingers. It dries pretty quick.

3. Apply few layers - especially in the inner semi circle area of the bottom and upper lip - until you get the red color you want. You can also add lip gloss after the last step.

Overall rating:  Color: Long Lasting: Packaging:☆ Smell:

My final thought:
I LOVE the lip tint. It gives my lips "sudden fresh and bold" look. My friends made lots of compliments every time I use this lip tint, like "Your lips look red!", "You look more beautiful." , "There's something different, you look prettier." etc etc. Wow.. this made me realized that our lips color could make some differences to our appearance.
the lip tint also long lasting. After I eat and drink, the color is still there, even if not as bold as the first apply. I think it's even getting more natural.

What I don't like about the tony tint and other lip tint is IT'S SO HARD TO APPLY IN MY UPPER LIP! the color hardly popped up. It's like I don't use any in my upper lip. That's why people also keep asking me , "Why don't you apply lipstick in your upper lip? why just in your bottom lip?"
Well, I don't know the answer why the color won't visible. Anyone knows? ):

Last.. there's the most negative point about the MINI tony tint. The packaging.
After I use the tint and close the cap, the liquid starts to come out. This is really not good. I have to prepare tissues every time I use the lip tint. I quickly run out the lip tint.

But still, I quite satisfied with this TONYMOLY lip tint. It's completely different than using lipstick (:

Pink Glittery Gradation Nail Art

I LOVE making nail art!
Every time I get bored with my natural nail color, at least I color them with nail polish immediately. Sometimes when I'm in the mood, I will make beautiful nail art (:
This time, the nail art I want to show you was made with:
1. Etude House Petit Darling Nails PK008
2. OPI Mini Glittery Pink
3. Etude House LUCI Darling Fantastic Nails #05
4. Etude House Jewel Nail Stone (I forgot to take picture)

Here's the step by step to create the nail art. (I'm sorry the quality is so bad. I took the pics with smartphone)
1. Apply a thin layer of pink Petit Darling Nails starts from the edge till the tip of your nail surface.
2. Continue to apply few coats on the tip. Don't worry if the result is not neat. We will coat it again anyway.
3. Coat all over your nail surface with Glittery Pink polish.
4. Now is the fun part. Add bling with LUCI Darling polish and nail stone.
5. Finish it by applying your favorite top coat.

You can also be creative with adding nail sticker.

This is my most favorite nail art. I hope you like it too. Bye! x3

Etude House Dear Darling Tint #03

Hi again, everyone! Who knows and likes and use lip tint? Raise your hands please.. Oh, I forgot I couldn't see your hands xp (forget my randomness here). I had been curious with lip tint and decided to give it a try. My first attempt was using TONYMOLY lip tint. And this Etude House Dear Darling Tint #03 was my second attempt. Let's see how it works.

This is the front look. The liquid looks red. In fact, the tint has orange color.

See? It's orange.

Here it is my ugly bare lips.

I dab it to my lips, but it wasn't working. The color didn't pop out, so I swipe the lip tint like using a lip gloss. After this, I blended it with my finger.

This lip tint is like a jelly for me because it's glossy and viscous. It also tastes and smells sweet. And what I like the most, it doesn't feel dry to my lips.

Voila!

Because the lip tint usually has sheer color, I suggest you to add layers to make the color more visible. For myself, my upper lip seems can't absorb the tint as good as my bottom lip so I have to add more more more layers.

After applying lip tint, you can use lip balm or lip gloss. You just have to remember to not apply those before the lip tint. It can mess up the lip tint applicator, makes your lip tint can't blend perfectly to your lips.

So this is it. Please share your experience using lip tint (:
