Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream Repackage?

Recently I bought a Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream online for my friends. After I received and checked the packaging, suddenly I noticed something that bothering my sight. Few months ago I also bought the Hot Pink myself, but at a different online shop.

Let's say the online shop where I bought the BB cream for myself is "ol shop 1" and the other where I bought for my friends is "ol shop 2".

Maybe you all wondering why I bought the same BB cream at different places. It was because I saw that ol shop 2 sells cheaper beauty products than ol shop 1. So why not give it a try? I also have researched ol shop 2 from google and seemed that lots of ppl who have ordered products feel satisfied.

It's not that the ol shop 1 isn't a trusted seller. Ol shop 1 has became a permanent sponsor for a famous beauty blogger in Indonesia, so I also trust them.

Now, back at the packaging. The first thing that has caught my attention was the writing. On ol shop 2 BB cream bottle was written "wrinkle improvement", the box also was written "wrinkle improvement" while on ol shop 1 bottle was written "wrinkle free" but the box was written "wrinkle improvement".

The bottle and box supposed to have the same writing, right?

The box from ol shop 1 is a bit dented because of water spill

Look, here is the skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream 2010 new package I found on Eki Blog.

As I found the difference, I checked on the other packaging side of the both BB Creams. There are not so much differences actually.

The expiration date is not that distant

I asked an explanation from both of the ol shops, but only ol shop 2 who answered. The owner said that probably due to the fake bb creams out there, Skin79 constantly repackage its packaging.

Beside of the packaging, my BB Cream works very well, there's nothing wrong for my skin.

So, what do you guys think about this? Do you have the similar matter like this? Let's share! (:

  1. I never bought Skin79 products before so I really can't say. It's weird how the packaging words are different..I would be cautious.

    1. i too just bought this product as well as the powder, mine looks like yours second picture, but i am scared because the bottle does not have the sticker but the powder does, i have emaild the seller and waiting a reply, the product seems the same, everything about it seems real, but the sticker skares the heck out of me so i am wondering myself whats going on, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this if enough ppl ask

  2. It is really sharp of you to have noticed all the subtle differences which add up to a lot. I don't use Skin 79 so I do not know but I do see other products which I purchase a second time looking different form my first. I guess it should be fine?

I'm hosting my very first giveaway and I would really love to invite you (one of my earlier followers) to try your hand at winning something.

  5. It is the new 2012 packaging probably. They change it rather often not to let others produce many fake Hot Pinks.

  6. Yeah according to this blogger, the newer 2012 packaging changed it to "wrinkle improvement"!!

Also your box has the perforated line so it's most likely real! :D

    1. where is the sticker on the bottle now then? because i bought one and it looks just like picture 2 and the only thing different is there was no sticker, but everything else seems legit. the powder compact i bought off the same seller has a sticker on the bottom, and she swears she sells the real deal, do you think its possable they forgot to put one on? all the numbers match on mine the bottle matches the box i am afraid because of all the fakes out there and i am putting this on my face i don't want to have any reactions please help

    3. Hi, Tammy. I think the sticker is the strong indication that the Skin79 product is real. But it's not just ordinary sticker. You should pay attention. When you peel off the sticker, letters "VOID" will show up. That's the authentic sticker.
Mine do have this authentic sticker. So, I also believe that my BB creams are real (:
