Beauty in U Gathering Event

Last Saturday I was invited by Beauty in U to their beauty blogger gathering event.

For introduction, Beauty in U open their first store here in Jakarta at Mall of Indonesia Kelapa Gading. They bring USA and Korean skin care and beauty product such as Wet n Wild, Privia U, The Skin House and more brands to come.

This beauty blogger gathering was held in Churreria MOI. When I arrived, Mas Fadil, the Marketing Manager of Beauty in U greeted me warmly.



On 3.30 pm, the event was started by Mas Fadli. He briefly explained about the event and introduce us to two other hosts.


This is Mbak Astri, the Beauty Editor of Joy Magazine. She explained the beauty and makeup trend for this Fall Winter season. She said, red color is very trending, especially for lipstick. Trend for this season also lead us to natural makeup but bold at the same time, like bold lip color, or bold smokey eyes.

Mbak Astri shared tips about making lipstick color on your own. You can apply eyeshadow after using lipstick. So the color you get will be unique (:

After that, there was makeup demonstration with Privia U products by Mbak Rachel, the makeup artist. I like her appearance. So cute ^^


Few makeup products that would be use for the demonstration. So many makeup tools. I felt like lame because I rarely use them and depend only with my fingers. haha.

Mbak Rachel said that Privia U has nanoparticle for its content. This will make the makeup more even to the skin.

Mbak Rachel applied makeup base to neutralize skin tone and make the foundation lasts longer.

Then, after the base makeup, foundation, concealer, compact powder, eye shadow, mascara, blush, lipstick and loose powder (all by Privia U), Voila! it's done!

There were few games to get interesting prizes from Privia U. For three people who were late (including myself) had to demonstrate using liptick as nice as you can without mirror, and another games was who had most lippies on her bag and there was best dress competition won by Neni from Kawaiifuku.

Even if we already had our hands with shopping bag, Beauty in U still have the real goodie bag for us! They're so kind.
We were showed to their store at GF and we can pick the goodie bag there.

This is my condition before and after using. Even if I was still in my period period, my blackheads remove a bit. I also feel the T-zone area feels smoother and hydrates.

 

My thought: Actually, I don't think the product works best for me. Yes, my black and whiteheads remove a bit, but there's not much differences. Is it probably because of my period? ): I also get more oily in the face. Maybe it's because this is still my initial period, just like it is said on the packaging.
